Ready to Read Program
For Rising
Kinders & 1st Graders

Our Ready to Read Program addresses three major components of Reading Instruction: Alphabet Knowledge, Phonological Awareness, and Reading Comprehension. It is designed for Pre-K, Kindergarten or First-grade students who struggle with letter recognition, sound association, blending, tracking, sound recall, articulation, co-articulation, reading basics and more. We practice early intervention and incorporate Multi-sensory Structured Language Education at the Therapist level. Our classrooms are all lead by Certified Academic Language Therapists (C.A.L.T.'s ) who are nationally certified by the Academic Language Therapy Association, aka ALTA.  Our classroom enrollment is limited to ensure each child is academically attended to individually. According to evidence-based research, phonological awareness, alphabet knowledge, and oral language are key components that contribute significantly to the effectiveness of beginning reading and spelling instruction.

Daily Tasks for Ready to Readers Include:

  • Multi-sensory Practice Alphabet and Games

  • Multi-sensory Sound Recognition and Games

  • Handwriting & Grip/ Writing Stories
