Ready to Read Program
For Rising
Kinders & 1st Graders

Our Ready to Read Program addresses three major components of Reading Instruction: Alphabet Knowledge, Phonological Awareness, and Reading Comprehension. It is designed for Pre-K, Kindergarten or First-grade students who struggle with letter recognition, sound association, blending, tracking, sound recall, articulation, co-articulation, reading basics and more. We practice early intervention and incorporate Multi-sensory Structured Language Education at the Therapist level. Our one-on-one instruction with a Certified Academic Language Therapists (C.A.L.T.'s ) who is nationally certified by the Academic Language Therapy Association, aka ALTA.

Daily Tasks for Ready to Readers Include:

  • Multi-sensory Practice Alphabet and Games

  • Multi-sensory Sound Recognition and Games

  • Handwriting & Grip/ Writing Stories

  • Learned Word or Sight Word Practice

  • Practice Reading

  • Reading Comprehension

  • Listening Comprehension
